Makeway Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based consultancy delivering professional business and consulting services to organisations across Australia. We exist to help good businesses make sound decisions, fix what is not working and grow with confidence — with advice that is honest, practical and genuinely accountable.

Our Story

Makeway Pty Ltd began in Melbourne with a simple observation: too many Australian businesses were paying for advice that read well in a report but changed nothing on the ground. Our founders had spent years inside operations, finance and strategy roles, and they believed clients deserved something better — consultants who take responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables.

From day one, we set out to build a different kind of practice. The people who write the recommendations are the same people who help you implement them. Every engagement is led by a senior consultant. Every recommendation is grounded in evidence, explained in plain English and pressure-tested against the realities of running a business in Australia.

Today we work with owner-operators, family businesses, growing companies and not-for-profit organisations across the country. The scale of our work has grown, but the approach has not changed: careful listening, rigorous analysis, practical solutions and follow-through.
